Why I made this
For the actual work—and extraordinary beauty—of making a life your own.
I created The World She Made because I wanted a place that spoke honestly to women like me: women who have built real lives, often largely through their own effort, and who are still becoming.
My life contains work I care about, a home I maintain, animals I love, music and creativity, complicated relationships, practical worries, big plans, and small moments that return me to myself. It is full. And sometimes, it is heavy to hold alone.
I wanted a place that could understand both truths—not one that pitied women whose lives do not follow the traditional script, and not a glossy empowerment brand insisting that strong women need nobody.
This is that place. I’m glad you found it.
